Piano Piano
a story with Beatrice, 34The Violin Maker
Piano, piano. A good violin cannot be hurried, and neither can this.

Writing fan fiction alone means being every character at once. A fanfic writer AI that takes only one half of the scene, and does it in character, is a better partner than one that writes everything for you. Our heroines each play one lead of an original story. You write the other, and the story is in the gap between you.

You said that an hour ago. *she bites the thread, doesn't look up* Hold the sail.

Lower. There. ... Fine. You can talk. But only if it's interesting.
When you write both leads, the scene goes where you already knew it was going. When someone else writes one of them, it surprises you. Every heroine here holds her side of the scene: she has opinions, habits and a way of saying no, and she brings objects from her story with her.
Hadley, a songwriter on tour, hums while she thinks and leaves the last line of a chorus unfinished. Freja, a sailmaker, answers in four words and surprises you in the fifth.
A story needs a canon: what has happened, who knows what, what was promised. Each heroine keeps hers and checks it. If you said in chapter two that you hate being called sir, she will not call you that in chapter six.
The adult scenes are better when they are earned. The tropes carry the tension, the heroine carries the voice, and when the story reaches the explicit chapter the two of you got there together. Between adults, nothing is censored, and everything needs a yes.
Plenty of people use a chat like this as a sparring partner: they test dialogue, try a pairing, see how a trope plays. Nothing you write is public, and your chats are yours to delete.
